The Story Of St. Paul Empty The Story Of St. Paul

    Post by Poem

St. Paul was formerly Saul of the Sanhedrin. He was under orders by the high priest, to go out and abolish Christ's followers.
Thus he went on this mission.

We read in Poem of the Man-God the conflict between him and Gamaliel. Gamaliel being upright and just, following the commandments of the Lord as written lived them as best as he could. He maintained by the words of the Lord keeping them. Gamaliel did not partake in murder and was always against such demands. He kept his distance from such and did not back down when confronted. His character was formed in justice of God's Law.

Saul and Gamaliel had exchanged words concerning these matters.

It's difficult to know how many of Christ's followers Saul and company had taken.

However, Saul on the way to Damascus was struck by Our Lord. Made temporarily blind.

The character of Saul was steadfast and he did not defer from his missions making him a good and useful servant of the Lord. He obviously was 'converted' from the Old Temple. Here is a man who was notorious for hunting down Christ's followers and suddenly He sees the Light and is diverted. The Lord took Saul, gave him a new name, taught him through the years. His conversion process took years, not months, but months of years. He was brought before St. Peter and the Apostles. Obviously the Holy Spirit was at work here.

We have to remember, and think about the Old Temple ways, that each member thought they were serving God even though they were breaking the Commandments. Kind of contradictory, in large ways.

Saul having made himself a name as one who takes and arrests Christ's followers. This was widely known.

So Jesus gave him a new name, Paul in English for our reference.

St. Paul had to suffer a great deal as Christ's missionary, evangelizer. But through it all St. Paul had the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, was gifted by God to save souls and start many parishes in the desert. The desert of life as well as the desert.

St. Paul had much success as a servant of God because he learned to live in the Spirit, guided by the Spirit. He converted overtime, yielding to the Spirit his humanity which is a heavy weight for the soul. He even teaches about it in his epistles. His words are guided by the Spirit of God. He never gave himself credit. He always referred his life to the Spirit of God.

Thus, it is with every one who truly follows the Lord God. It is always, the Spirit who works and brings us to the character and likeness to God, through morphosis. Getting rid of the errored man living in slime.

God as you know did not create slime to be for man. But to be a living soul placed into mud.
It became slime due to sin. What God created in the beginning was perfect and beautiful. It became slime when man fell.

God originally created beauty to clothe man with beauty of His Creation.
When God departed from man due to his own error, it became putrid slime. As stated, God said I will not always dwell with man because his days are just flesh. And he brought the floods.

Thus it is when Man sins and the sanctifying Grace and graces are to no avail and man once again spreads allover the earth as just flesh.
God looks down from His Heavenly Throne and sees man has not taken heed to His methods.

St. Paul had visions of Heaven for he was as stated caught up to God's Heaven and heard words he was told not to repeat.

St. Paul had much grace from God, in favor with God, in fact he was very astute in keeping the commandments and then possessing God, gave God to anyone who wanted to know and have God themselves. He was tireless in his work. A great example of a man converted to Christ. He did not waiver. He kept on fighting for Christ to save souls. He loved God very much and as much as he loved God, he loved to save souls from death, sin and hell. To snatch souls from Satan.

For the majority, it is not about snatching souls from Satan. As this has taken a back seat in minds and hearts.
To see a true worker of God who spends his days and nights for this end, is amazing and inspires to do the same.

Thus, there are those out there as God does not leave earth without such souls doing the work. Who? Doesn't matter.
They are souls who seek God to be in every soul they meet. They do not tire. They do suffer. They do feel distressed at times.
They are guided by the Spirit of God and they will have their reward from the King.

    Peace be with you always
