    Adam and Eve were created in Grace and had Grace.  They tasted how good the Lord is.  They had all the wisdom God supplied for them.  They were fused with knowledge of how God created the Universe, the earth, animals, fish, birds and with one exception: How God made man. The details here.  Genesis simply states, from the slime of the earth, God formed man's body and the blew the breath of life into his nostrils.  Mud and God's Breath..

    God simply states His breath is His essence.  What comes from Him.

    The mud has many minerals and other fine parts.  Put some water and one can make a clay doll.
    However, God was able to with this mud, make organs, bones, hair, skin.  All this comes from the 'earth'.

    The breath however, comes from God.  Thus, all souls, belong to God.  

    The Lord in the writings to Maria, states, it is impossible to return to Grace, once one has tasted that the Lord is 'good.'

    That is once a soul has been elevated in Grace, learned of God, given peace, joy, salvation in Jesus and the Holy Spirit, to fall to disgrace, it is impossible to gain Grace again.

    St. Paul spoke of this as well.  Hebrews 6:4

     4 For it is impossible for those who were once illuminated, have tasted also the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost  5 Have moreover tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,  7 For the earth that drinketh in the rain which cometh often upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is tilled, receiveth blessing from God.  8 But that which bringeth forth thorns and briers, is reprobate, and very near unto a curse, whose end is to be burnt.

    This is a hard saying to some. But it is this way.

    There was a man, in the Poem, where his wife begged Jesus for his life.  Jesus granted it and she had to sacrifice something. Fast, give something up for some period of time. To do penance for this gift for her husband.
    His offense was a great one.  

    Later on Jesus one day, possibly a year has gone by since the woman asked, is walking and finds this man returning back to his old ways.  The man begged Jesus for mercy and forgiveness.  Jesus said, forgiveness is based on your behavior.  

    If the man does not change, he loses his life. If the man changes, he gains his life.  

    Consequently, the Lord said to the man you will be in Purgatory till the day of Judgment.  That was 2000 years ago.  
    The Lord kept His promise to the wife, because she did what was required.  The Lord as Judge placed the soul in Purgatory for his crimes.  He will gain life after Judgment Day.

    For Grace it is entirely different.   Once a soul has been given the Lord in all his goodness and the Holy Spirit's gifts and has lived this way for a good many years and falls away, this soul cannot receive Grace again.

    This is what happened to Adam and Eve.  They had to do penance and live in the justice of God to gain Limbo.  And they did not live a short life as we do. They had to suffer a long 900 years bringing sons and daughters and teaching them I presume to not sin and go against the commandment:  Stay away from that Tree.

    Once a soul is illuminated, been given the gifts of heaven, and possessed the Holy Spirit, and falls away, this precious gift of Grace is no longer available to them during their life time.  

    In one of the Notebooks, Jesus explains this as well.  

    Thus, to daily remain in the Word of God.  Satan lures us unawares into many traps just for that to happen as he did with Adam and Eve.  We are human beings and Adam and Eve are the first ones.  We are no different in this relation as human beings.
