After a while, having thoughts nourishment.
In heaven they don't eat food as we do here. Our bodies need sustenance to live.
In heaven the angels are nourished by God. He feeds them His Light. They are alive and thriving in the Light of God. Since we are not there we do not know what is in the Light that nourishes them.
So lets peer into the beginning days prior to the great sin.
Adam and the woman were fed by Grace. It is a spiritual paradise with flesh as a garment and they did perceive themselves to be naked. The temperature outside was set by God. They did not have clothing to cover. We can assume two thoughts. 1 is they did not feel cold or heat. 2 the temperature was always perfect.
There are many thoughts we ponder on what it must have been like without clothing and dog days. Misery did not exist.
Misery when we think back on those days, is having to brush your teeth, take a bath, wash your clothes, make clothes, build homes, plough the fields, so on. The many things we have to do today.
Being naked and not needing clothes or a roof. No need for fields to plough to raise crop for God had planted a garden.
We can assume they did not slaughter animals for food. The animals were companions along with the insects. Fish, birds all these were companions for Adam.
There was no killing.
These few verses actually tell a lot about those days:
Genesis Chapter 2
[16] And he commanded him, saying: Of every tree of paradise thou shalt eat: [17] But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat. For in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt die the death. [18] And the Lord God said: It is not good for man to be alone: let us make him a help like unto himself. [19] And the Lord God having formed out of the ground all the beasts of the earth, and all the fowls of the air, brought them to Adam to see what he would call them: for whatsoever Adam called any living creature the same is its name. [20] And Adam called all the beasts by their names, and all the fowls of the air, and all the cattle of the field: but for Adam there was not found a helper like himself.
He did not have the same kind of being to be his companion.
He ate the fruits from the trees. The animals were not sacrificed to feed his flesh.
He actually was being nourished by God in similarity to the angels. He was created by God given the Divine Particle, placed into the slime that became a body of flesh--transformation from slime to flesh. What the flesh needed was minimal at that time. For there was no disease, sickness, illnesses, pain, sorrow, hatred, anger, violence, lusts.
He as in Paradise, God's Paradise upon the earth.
We have to then think about God's character a lot. In the Ten Commandments.
No killing, no betrayals, no lusting. Only Love. Honor and respect.
Remember it's perfect at that time.
So the Perfect God knows what the body needs. It is not food like we have today.
Adam and the woman lived on Grace and they had delicacies from the trees and the plants that brought forth fruits. They had vegetables. They did not have tables, and utensils, ovens, fire, to cook and eat. These came after the Sin, as they were alive to the carnal their flesh hungered. It can be the thought that they began to eat animals some time afterwards. We don't have the geological digging from that time period as it was washed and buried under water. And probably where they were was buried under tons of earth.
Jesus often times did not eat. He was in Grace and had no stain of Sin. He was all spirit and the body was the garment. A Living Soul. The Second Adam. He and we are different in that we are born with the Stain of Sin. The sin is genetic sown into man's blood.
Thus Jesus donates His Blood in the Chalice. The heart of man was bitten by the Serpent when he listened to the woman who gave him the knowledge to crave after sensual. He became a carnal being, and at the same instant became an atheist. For he disobeyed God's command and God took Grace, closed Heaven and sent Adam out of the Garden of Eden, Paradise to till the earth for his days remaining. Yet God did not abandon Adam totally. Adam chose with the woman to became carnal.
So in reality to be carnal all your days, means you are an atheist.
So what is the definition for atheist? The real one.
Not having Grace. Without Grace one cannot become a true believer. Have to have more that just believing. It is in complete union with Grace, where there are no other thoughts of another way to live. For us it begins with obedience to God's commands. We train to become saints. We train to be the real thing. Formation. To form our thoughts and actions according to God's design. Then when we have been nourished fed by Grace, and formed accordingly by Grace to God's satisfaction, and enter Heaven, that is when the training is over and our formation is completed.
So in heaven God nourishes the angels and the souls of those gone ahead of us.
Of course we need to feed the creature that has come about from the Sin lest we die by killing this part. Some saints lived on just the Eucharist in times past, I believe this was done by Grace. All things are possible with God.
Obedience to God, full firm faith in God, unwavering, firm established.
Peace be with you always
