Excerpt from Book 4 Chapter 442 Pages 163-169

This is the crux:  God's reasoning listen well.  To imitate and live as Jesus had done and accomplished is very doable.

« Your reply is and is not correct. The merits of God are infinite, you say. Everything is infinite in God. But God does not have any merits in the sense that He has not merited. He has attributes, virtues of His own. He is He Who is: Perfect, Infinite, Almighty. But to merit, it is necessary to do something, and with effort, superior to our nature. For instance, to eat is not a merit. But to eat frugally can become a merit, if we make real sacrifices, in order to give to the poor what we save. It is no merit to be silent. But it becomes a merit if we are quiet instead of retorting an insult. And so forth. Now, you know that God does not need to make any effort, because He is Perfect, Infinite. But the Man-God can make an effort by humiliating His infinite divine Nature within human limitations, by defeating human nature, which is not absent or metaphorical, but real, in Him, with all its senses and feelings, with its possibility of suffering and dying, with its free will. No one loves death, particularly when it is painful, untimely and undeserved. No one loves it. And yet, every man must die. So man ought to look at death with the same calm with which he sees every living being come to an end. Well, I force my Humanity to love death. Not only. But I chose life to be able to have death. For the sake of Mankind. Thus, in my condition of Man-God I gain those merits which I could not have gained if I had remained God. And through them, which are infinite, because of the manner in which I gain them, because of the divine Nature joined to the human nature, because of the virtues of Charity and Obedience, with which I put Myself in condition to de-serve them, because of Fortitude, Justice, Temperance, Prudence, because of all the virtues which I put in My heart to make it acceptable to God, My Father, I will have infinite power, not only as God, but also as Man, Who sacrifices Himself for the sake of everybody, that is, Who reaches the extreme limit of Charity. It is sacrifice which gives merit. The greater the sacrifice, the greater the merit. A complete merit for a complete sacrifice. Perfect merit for a perfect sacrifice. And it may be used according to the holy will of the victim, to whom the Father says: "Let it be as you wish!", because the victim has loved both God and his neighbour measurelessly. I tell you. The poorest man can be the richest and benefit countless brothers, if he can love to the extent of sacrifice. I tell you: even if you did not have a crumb of bread, a glass of water, a ragged garment, you can always help. How? By praying and suffering for your brothers. Help whom? Everybody. In which way? In a thousand holy ways, because if you can love, you will be able to act, teach, forgive, administer as God does, and to redeem, as the Man-God redeems. »

Jesus gives us the means to live as He did. First by Baptism(s) Plural, then by receiving Him in Body and Blood, (Bread and Wine Transubstantiated).  Then by joining the Holy Spirit to each soul -- restoration of Grace.  All to live in Charity.

The Lord Our Teacher is telling us how to merit here, to gain His approval.  The crux. Love is Everything. Supernatural in Origin and Ways. To love as God loves is simple and he makes it possible.  To overcome the Negator, his negation.  Love, love, love heroically, with all your strength.  Become pure and innocent in soul, mind and heart.

Everything is explained here, How Jesus did it and how we can do it too.  The saints loved and that is why they did what they did.
To be a saint means to love as Jesus loved.  Jesus always says to all His People:  'Do what I Do.'  Listen to Me!   --Jesus Christ

    Peace be with you always

Took the above and broke it down like this so it can be meditated on.

« Your reply is and is not correct.

    1) The merits of God are infinite, you say. Everything is infinite in God.

    2) But God does not have any merits in the sense that He has not merited.

    3) He has attributes, virtues of His own.

    4) He is He Who is: Perfect, Infinite, Almighty.

    5) But to merit, it is necessary to do something, and with effort, superior to our nature.

    6) For instance, to eat is not a merit. But to eat frugally can become a merit, if we make real sacrifices, in order to give to the poor what we save.

    7) It is no merit to be silent. But it becomes a merit if we are quiet instead of retorting an insult. And so forth.

    8) Now, you know that God does not need to make any effort, because He is Perfect, Infinite.

    9) But the Man-God can make an effort by humiliating His infinite divine Nature within human limitations, by defeating human nature, which is not absent or metaphorical,  but real, in Him, with all its senses and feelings, with its possibility of suffering and dying, with its free will.

    10) No one loves death, particularly when it is painful, untimely and undeserved. No one loves it. And yet, every man must die.

    11) So man ought to look at death with the same calm with which he sees every living being come to an end.

    12) Well, I force my Humanity to love death. Not only.

    13) But I chose life to be able to have death. For the sake of Mankind.

    14) Thus, in my condition of Man-God I gain those merits which I could not have gained if I had remained God. And through them, which are infinite, because of the manner in which I gain them, because of the divine Nature joined to the human nature, because of the virtues of Charity and Obedience, with which I put Myself in condition to deserve them, because of Fortitude, Justice, Temperance, Prudence, because of all the virtues which I put in My heart to make it acceptable to God, My Father, I will have infinite power, not only as God, but also as Man, Who sacrifices Himself for the sake of everybody, that is, Who reaches the extreme limit of Charity.

    15) It is sacrifice which gives merit.

    16) I tell you. In a thousand holy ways, be-cause if you can love, you will be able to act, teach, forgive, administer as God does, and to redeem, as the Man-God redeems. »

To sacrifice for the Souls in Purgatory is then a ministry for their brothers and sisters; which Jesus taught before He Ascended.  Last Teachings before Ascension.

To pray for everybody that is living on this planet today.  Love. God loves all.

His conditions are laid out for us.  Let's simplify this:   If we are bad, we do not get His approval.  If we are good we do.  We treat each other in the same judgments do we not?
Do we like evil ripping apart someones home?  Doing harm to another?  Do we approve of thieving?  We should not. But we pray for them, so God can teach them
    right from wrong.

What did Jesus say about our souls being stained by Original Sin?
What did Jesus say about how to get our souls washed, this Stain?
What did Jesus say about how to be infused with Him?
What did Jesus say about how to be ministers of His Religion?
What did Jesus say about the Law of His Father?
What did the Father testify of?
What did the Father speak when the Apostles where with Jesus on Mt. Tabor with Moses and Elijah?
What did Jesus say to the Apostles before He ascended?
What did Jesus do the whole 3 years of His ministry?
What did Jesus say in regards to the Holy Spirit when He comes?

Jesus and the Holy Spirit work in concert for us all to gain merits and reach Heaven.  Together.

Every word of Jesus in His days written in these Works, tells shows us how to act in certain situations which are common to man.

Jesus speaks clearly and He gave such a great Wisdom to us in these Works.  To use them wisely and gain merits for everyone.

We ourselves separated from Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not able to bring the Religion to others if we ourselves are not in it.

Jesus says, what we possess, we give.  Knowledge, Religion, Understanding, Wisdom, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

When in full possession of God as taught by Jesus, that is infusion of Jesus Bread of Heaven (Body and Blood), Holy Spirit upon us in us, the Word of God is then able to work in Charity. His Power of Redemption.

Jesus is speaking to the Apostles who were raised on the Law, Prophets and Moses, and He is teaching them what God has been telling them in the Law, Prophets and Moses to perfection as a Man who merits, so He taught them how to merit all by word and example, Living the Life.  Revealing hidden meanings, to help them understand. Thus the Gospel when taught by Himself and the Holy Spirit, man having Grace in the state of Grace is the only way in our Religion.  Pure and simple.  No derivatives, no dividing, no parts, the Whole.

Cannot differ one iota from it. Cannot say to It I can do it, and believe it, but these parts I am having a difficult time accepting-- 'I cannot' is wrong -- a balking happens, a pause occurs. Jesus did it, and so can we.

If one runs into parts, has parts in which one cannot believe, ask. God I do not understand, teach me and show me.  Guess what? He does. He never fails.

God is Perfect and He gave a perfect Gospel to follow for each soul.  Believe and you will have great reward. Humility brings Wisdom.  Never be proud.
To not understand is common, thus we have Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  Read St. John's Gospel pertaining to the Holy Spirit. Most do not believe this part due to their own self interests. Compartmentalize. A compartment for other interests.

These Apostles were common men just like us. For some reason they are put on a pedestal as too great and how can we be like them?  Wrong thinking.
Human thinking here explicitly, 100% human.  The Religion is Supernatural in Origin. Thus if not living Supernaturally as it is, then the human response is predominant.
    Don't you think so?  Absolutely.

Jesus said in the beginning chapters and in some parts of these Works, which we do not put to the front, is "I have Come to Bring Man Back to Origin before He Sinned."

The Father stated in the Notebook which is written here on the forum, that through Christ's Work, His Life, His Passion, was there brought the Second Paradise on earth. Return to Origin. Albeit, Return to Origin. God's interests are our souls.

ORIGINAL State for man. Sin free, washed of the Original Sin.  Then through daily vigilance keep the state of Grace.  A Second Paradise.

Yet, man not understanding with his Supernatural Part, returns to the muck and mire.  Is the world baptized in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? Jesus ordered the Apostles and Disciples who were at His Ascension.  What did He speak?  Go into all the world, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, The Son, the Holy Spirit.

Baptize here means: Show and teach them to 'return' the world back to Origin.

Jesus has stated in Book 4 Chapter 442 about God's Infinite Power, and man's ability to merit, making clear distinction. (I speak in short)
Telling us how even a poor man with no food to give, no clothing to give, no money to give, that he can merit heaven because he knows how to love.
He prays for everybody.  God's Justice system is Love.  Love is everything, from Love God comes everything. Love is God, and God is our Bounty.

    A saint.

    Notebook 1944
Chapter: Vision of the Death of St. Agnes
    Page: 68-73

    January 13

    Jesus says:

“It is said, ‘God, having infinitely loved man, loved him until death.” (St. John’s Gospel 13:1)
“My truest followers are not and were not unlike their God, and, in keeping with his example and for his glory, they have given Him and men measureless love extending to the point of death.”

“I have already told you that the death of Agnes, like that of Therese, has a single name: love.  Regardless of whether the sword or illness appears to be the cause of the death of these creatures, who were able to love with that relative ‘infinity’ of the creature (I speak this way for the quibblers over words), which is a lesser copy of God’s perfect infinity, the true and exclusive agent is love.”

“A single word should be affixed as an epigraph upon these ‘saints’ of mine.  The one which is used for Me: Dilexit.  ‘He loved.’  Agnes the girl and the young Cecilia loved; the group of Symphorus’ children loved; the tribune Sebastian loved; the deacon Lawrence loved; the slave Julia loved; Cassian the teacher loved; Rufus the carpenter loved; Linus the pontiff loved; the white flowerbed of virgins, the tender meadow of the children, the delicate company of the mothers, the virile one of the fathers, the iron-hard cohort of the soldiers, and the sacerdotal procession of bishops, pontiffs, priests, and deacons loved; the humble and twice-redeemed mass of slaves loved.

“This purple court of mine, which confessed Me in the midst of torments, loved.  And, in gentler times,  those of those consecrated in cloisters and convents loved, and the virgins in all convents, and the earthly heroes who, while living in the world have been able to make a love cloister for the spirit so that they will live loving only the Lord, for the Lord’s sake, and men through the Lord.”

“’He loved.’  This little word, which is greater than the universe—for in its brevity it contains God’s most forceful force, God’s most characteristic characteristic, and God’s most powerful power—this word, whose sound, when spoken supernaturally to describe a life led, fills creation with itself and makes mankind start with admiration and the Heavens with rejoicing, is the key, the secret which opens up and explains the resistance, generosity, fortitude, and heroism of so many creatures who on account of age or family conditions and position seemed to be the least suited for such heroic perfection.  For, if it still does not cause amazement that Sebastian, Alexander, Mario, and Speditus should have been able to defy death for the sake of Christ—just as they had defied death for Ceasar—it is astonishing that some who were little more than girls, like Agnes, and loving mothers should have been able to cast their lives into the midst of tortures, agreeing, as their first torment, to wrest themselves away from the embrace of relatives and children out of love for Me.”

“But to the human and superhuman generosity of the martyr to love there corresponds the divine generosity of the God of love.  It is I who give my strength to these heroes of mine and to all the victims of the unbloody, but long and no less heroic martyrdom.  I make Myself strength in them.  It is I who infuse fortitude into the lamb Agnes and the feeble old man, the young mother and the soldier, the master and the slave, and, in addition, over the centuries, into the cloistered nun and the statesman who dies for the faith, the unknown victim and the spiritual leader.”

“In the depths of their hearts and on their lips, do not seek any other pearl or savor except this: ‘Jesus.’  I, Jesus am wherever holiness shines and charity pours itself out.”

    Maria’s words and vision starts:

It is midnight.  Jesus has just finished dictating this passage, which I connect with my vision tonight.
The sentence “God, having loved man infinitely, loved him until death” had been sounding in my heart since this morning.  To the point that I had leafed through the whole New Testament to see if I could find it.  But I did not find it.  Either it escaped me, or it’s not there.

Almost blinded, I resigned myself to terminating the search, convinced that Jesus would certainly speak on that subject.  And I was not wrong. But before speaking about it, my Lord granted me a sweet vision, and with that in my heart I abandoned myself to my usual…rest, later encountering it once more, as fresh as in the first instant, on my return among the living.

It seemed, then, that I was seeing a kind of portico (either a peristyle or a forum), a portico in ancient Rome.  I say “portico” because there was a beautiful marble mosaic floor and white marble columns supporting a vaulted ceiling, decorated with mosaics.  It might have been the portico of a pagan temple, or of a Roman palace, either the Curia or the Forum.  I don’t know.

Against a wall there was sort of throne, composed of a marble platform supporting a seat.  On this seat was an ancient Roman wearing a toga.  I then understood he was the Imperial Prefect.  Against other walls were statues and statuettes of gods and tripods for incense.  In the middle of the room or portico was an empty space with a large slab of white marble.  In the wall facing the seat of that magistrate there opened the real portico, by way of which the square and street were visible.

While I observed these details and the Prefect’s surly expression, three young women entered the vestibule, portico, or room (whichever you prefer).

A few steps behind the girl were the other two young women.  One was almost the same age as the first one mentioned, but more sturdily built and with a more lower-class appearance.  The other was more adult—about sixteen or eighteen years of at most.  They, too, were dressed in white, with their heads covered.  But more modestly dressed.  They seemed to be servants, for they behaved respectfully towards the first one.  I understood that the latter was Agnes, and the one her age, Emerentiana—I don’t know who the other was.

Agnes, smiling and secure, went right up to the Magistrate’s dais.  And here I heard the following dialogue:

“Did you wish for me? Here I am.”
“When you find out why I wanted you, I don’t think you will still call this gesture of mine a, ‘wish.’  Are you a Christian?”
“Yes, by the grace of God.”
“Do you realize what this assertion can bring to you?”
    “Heaven.”
“Be careful! Death is ugly, and you are a child.  Don’t smile, because I’m not joking.”
“And I am not either. I am smiling at you because you are the pronubus of my eternal wedding, and I am grateful to you.”
“Think of an earthly wedding, instead.  You are beautiful and wealthy.  Many are already thinking of you.  You have only to choose to become a happy patrician.”
“My choice has already been made.  I love the Only One worthy of being loved, and this is the hour of my wedding; this is the temple for it.  I am hearing the voice of the Spouse who is coming and am already seeing his look of love.  I am sacrificing my virginity to Him so that He will make in into an eternal flower.”
“If you were concerned about your virginity and about your life as well, sacrifice at once to the gods.  This what the law requires.”
“I have one true God and will sacrifice to Him willingly.”

    Maria interjects some words:

And here it seemed that some of the Prefect’s assistants gave Agnes a vase with incense in it so that she could scatter it before a god over the tripod chosen by her.

    Agnes continues to speak:

“These are not the gods I love.  My God is our Lord Jesus Christ.  To Him, whom I love, I will sacrifice myself.”
    Maria interjects her words:

It seemed to me at this point that the angered Prefect ordered his assistants to place chains around Agnes’ wrists to keep her from fleeing or committing some offensive act against the images, since from that moment on she was regarded as guilty and a prisoner.

But the smiling virgin turned to her executioner, saying, “Don’t touch me.  I came here spontaneously because I am called here by the voice of the Spouse, who from Heaven is inviting me to the eternal wedding.  I have no need for your bracelets or your chains.  Only if I wanted to be moved towards evil would you have to place them on me.  And—perhaps—they would be of no use, for my Lord God would make them more useless than a linen thread on a giant’s wrist.  But to go out to meet death, joy, and marriage with Christ—no, your chains are of no use, O brother.  I bless you if you give me martyrdom.  I do not flee.  I love you and pray for your spirit.”

As beautiful, white, and upright as a lily, Agnes was a heavenly vision in the vision….

The Prefect gave the sentence, which I did not hear clearly.  There seems to have been a kind of gap during which I lost sight of Agnes, intent as I was on the multitude that had crowded into that place.
I then came across the martyr again, even more beautiful and cheerful.  In front of her was a little golden statue of Jove and a tripod.  At her side was the executioner, with his sword already unsheathed.  They seemed to be making a last attempt to bend her will.  But Agnes, with flashing eyes, was shaking her head and, with her small hand, refusing the statue.  The little lamb was no longer at her feet, but, rather, in the arms of the weeping Emerentiana.
I saw they were having Agnes knee down on the floor, in the middle of the room, where the large slab of white marble was located.  The martyr recollected herself, with her arms over her chest and her gaze uplifted to the sky.  Her eyes, in the rapture of a delicate contemplation, became flooded with tears of supernatural joy.  There was a smile on her face, which was not paler than before.

One of the assistants took hold of her braids, as if they were a rope, to keep her head still.  But there was no need to.

“I love Christ!” she cried when she saw the executioner lift the sword, and I saw it penetrate between the shoulder blade and collarbone and open her carotid, and the martyr fell, still maintaining her kneeling position, to her left, like someone cuddling up to sleep, in a blessed sleep, for the smile did not leaven her face and was hidden only by the stream of blood gushing from her slashed throat as if from a beaker.
This was my vision tonight.  I could not wait to be alone to write it down and take joy in it once more in peace.

It was so lovely that while I was experiencing it—and tears were falling which I think the faint light in the room hid from those present, and I remained with my eyes closed, partly because I was so absorbed in contemplation that I needed to concentrate and partly to make them think I was sleeping, although I don’t like people to know…where I am—I could not bear to hear bits of ordinary, very human phrases drifting like flotsam amidst the beauty of the vision, and I said, “Hush, hush,” as if the noise bothered me.  But it was not that.  The fact was that I wanted to remain alone to contemplate in peace.  As I indeed managed to.

Then, afterwards, Jesus spoke to me. (In the preceding dictation)

The preceding dictation is on January 14, 1944 on the topic Acts of the Apostles 10:15.

Here is St. John's Gospel 13:1

1 Before the festival day of the pasch, Jesus knowing that his hour was come, that he should pass out of this world to the Father: having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

Translated over and over and lost the true words, which Jesus gives to Maria.

“It is said, ‘God, having infinitely loved man, loved him until death.” (St. John’s Gospel 13:1)

    Additional content for your nourishment:

16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

'Perish,' what does this mean coming from God?
To lose Heaven and end up in the Abyss. No God, just fire and sins your sins repeating like a gong over and over. No peace, no joy, no life, just endless torture of severity.

And our own knowledge 'passed' down through the generations, that Christ died for the salvation of all mankind. Non-Catholics included, all mankind.  Passion of Christ.  Love, sacrificed to gain back what was lost.  It is then, sacrifice that brings others to life, which Christ says over and over repeating Himself, for all to love.  Supernatural love, charity. To be charitable.  Plant the seed of love in the heart. In the soul. Read His Word to nourish the mind.

What are the benefits of living in the Religion?
Sins washed, the Stain of Original Sin, washed, and all sins one commits by confession.
Having Christ's infusion of Himself, Bread of Heaven Body and Blood to eat and drink. Not the non-sense that is preached today.

Christ's Gospel according to what Christ taught, explained, instructed, lived by 'example.'

    Peace be with you always
