    Meditations to aid deeper meaning

    Some thoughts and can be something personal as well.

    Is to focus on one particular aspect such as a scar on Jesus shoulder, a point of at the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus not being understood by so many people. Jesus' Gospel not really understood. Jesus as Holy Communion not believed in, not understood.  Jesus praying at wee hours of the night. Jesus doing penance; Jesus fasting. We can meditate on Jesus' entire Life and any of His teachings.  We can meditate on some saints lives. We can meditate concerning Mother of Jesus Her Life, Her words.

    One particular thought that I learned of about St. Padre Pio, was that as a young man he would sit as if he was with Jesus at the garden of Gethsemane and pray with Him.  Meditation is really where one actually is still from start to completion.  When getting in this habit, over the years you are meditating while doing something.  It becomes a way of living.  

    So when you actually pray you are in meditation as well.  

    This is the point of staring into a Crucifix placed on your feet in a squat position that is posted here to pray staring into the Crucifix.  Helps build a meditating state of mind, helps in many ways spiritual mindset.

    When praying something like the Angelus, on the 3rd one 

    "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us"

    to genuflect is the suggestion here.  To meditate in shortness particular instances of His life: Jesus in Womb, Jesus as infant, Jesus as adolescent, Jesus as Rabbi.  Along these lines.

    Give your affections to Jesus, Mary, Father, Holy Spirit.  Meditate on giving them your love.
    Meditate on some prayers and then ask these for others. 

    One thing is to pray for yourself to get the prayer life in order, then make it for others.
    Pray for others.  Love your neighbor as you love your self.  This is what saves. This kind of love.

    Because, Jesus said, your father in heaven takes care of birds, how much more your life and your life is created in the image and likeness to God a bird is not. But God loves all things. He loves the bird, cockroach, the centipede, the alligator, the stork, the phoenix, the pelican, the rest and there's quite a lot.
    So God is universal in love. God is all loving. From the great depths of His Love He loves perpetually. And He breathes Love like the air.

    Good will is an attribute of love.  Love converts. 

    Jesus said to love means this

    'To love means to live with one’s soul united, fused to a single fire which nourishes another soul. Then in fusion, understanding takes place.' 

    So if your soul is not united living fused to a single fire, what do you have to do?
    Get united to the single fire.

    So in your meditations, breathe, practice breathing, in out God, in out God, in out Jesus, in out Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit direct your heart and mind. Love God never give up!


    It is about the universal good
