    Jesus picked 12 men of various ages and of various backgrounds, all common men, nothing special about them in the worldly sense of recognition.  He picked 12 different types of personalities and character types, sets.

    These 12 men are common character types which God creates for the souls. The soul is the life of man. His flesh will not live without a soul.  Genesis explains how God created in the simplicity of God's work.   God created our flesh from the slime of the earth or mud, which is dust with water added, becomes mud or slime. Then after fashioning the body to look as He desired; He breathed the breath of life into the nostrils and Man became a man and a living soul.  The soul was infused into the fashioned or molded body and God said it is good. Thus, the first man was created perfect in fashion and was without Sin.  No degradation, no pain, just life of peace and joy, harmony oneness with God, the entire Trinity. Man is said to have fully possessed God in himself and this was the Life. The Life of Grace imparting all of God's goodness which He deemed for man. What God thought was necessary for the life of man, whom God called a son.  Then later God created a woman to be the companion for the man.  

    Jesus tells us that the woman was second in love and affection to God. So when God took a walk to some place in the large garden, absent for a time, the woman was given love to love Gods son.  The man was created to teach and the woman was created to love. To be affectionate, to give love to her man.  A union which we do not know really see and understand because man sinned.  

    The Lord said to these whom He created to be fruitful and multiply to fill up heaven.  God created in purity and goodness.  

    Fast forward to Jesus time on earth.

    Jesus picked 12 men to bring man back to this good state with which God originally created man and woman. Thus, Jesus says to return man back to his origins.  

    Jesus work instituted this return.  The Church is this institution with which God choose to give to man the ability to return to origin.

    These are called Sacraments.  The Sacraments are holy and pure, just like God.  These aid man to become cleansed of sin and all the sickness that infected the entire man from flesh to his soul.  

    The Eucharist is the Greatest Miracle God has given to man.  This Eucharist is mystical, a mystery to us all and we do not comprehend all of it, because God created it.   We see simple things like bread and wine. God takes these simple materials and makes them useful for our return to origin.  He works the miracle as we eat and drink and the affect of these converts us from the fallen nature to the risen nature in the image of Christ, taking Christ likeness in levels and stages. It is done. How quickly one rises depends on the person. How much do they covet God? How much do they want to be as God Wills?

    The Apostles were told that they are to be like Jesus. Thus Jesus took these 12 all over Israel to teach them by living example what the work entails, how people are, how each soul responds and acts.  How to read souls. How to speak to souls.  How to 'convert'. Evangelize.

    The Apostles imitated Jesus after assimilating Jesus. They became another Jesus to carry on the conversion of man back to origin, out of darkness, sickness which infected his entire being which man today does not understand what the sickness is and entails. But God does.  Thus God provided the necessary medicine and cure.  The Serpent most cunning, astute, crafty, intelligent being an former angel who was granted life, and the partaking of creation, new how God made man. For Lucifer, this once beautiful angel, was given the wisdom.  So he knew.  Thus he knows how to infect man.  And God calls him a Serpent.

    The Apostles were picked by God to go forth in Jesus name to convert as many as would be to Heavens way. To gain back Eternal Life in Heaven with God. These Apostles were given instructions to pass on Jesus teachings and ways to the next ones, to continue these Apostles down through the generations until God said 'enough'.  Only until God says 'enough' and not Man at all.  Man stands in the way of God's progress here, but, the Lord removes bad figures and replaces them with good ones.  It is God's creation and God's salvation plan for man.  Not mans.  We see that man did not live on His word alone. Genesis chapter 3.

    We see that Jesus did live on God's word alone.  His entire life of Ministry as the Saint, the Founder of the Church, the Master Teacher, The Lord God in Flesh, of his 3 three years concluded at the summit called the Passion, His Crucifixion.  His Life was given for the many that come down through the generations of Man.

    The Apostles were martyred most of them with a few exceptions.  They followed Jesus, imitated Jesus and they sit at the head.  

    All those who imitate Jesus, do the same and gain the same.  Eternally.  Our goals are tiny and minuscule compared to theirs.  They were not encumbered with Material wealth.  They did as Jesus had done.  They left their homes to evangelize wherever the Lord sent them.  And the Lord sent them abroad to evangelize as far as they could reach before they were martyred.  But, their work proceeds them into Heaven where God rewards eternally.   Man cannot reward as God rewards.  Mans rewards are minuscule and material.  God's rewards are greater than we can ever imagine.  

    True life is in the spirit where there is unlimited joy and peace, love and goodness to overflowing we cannot comprehend below heaven but, we get a foretaste of it while below Heaven.  These are gifts for us to taste and have now.  They are not material. They are super abundant invigorating ones spirit.  Like a fire came inside and lit up!  Filling with immense joy and peace.  This is what many of the great saints had.  This is what Jesus speaks of.  I came to give life and to give abundantly.  How?  Jesus as Eucharist which He gives and the Holy Spirit multiplies in us our spirits becomes more alive than one can believe and imagine and it does happen!  Because God does not lie.

    The Apostles lived as another Jesus.  They were infused with Christ. How?  Jesus in Holy Communion.  If you eat My flesh and drink My blood, you will have Life in you.  How simple can it get!  Yet, man, evaluates this 'humanly' thus does not get the gains!  Human egos, human will, human reasoning kills the life of your spirits!

    Become the little Apostles. Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Amen. So be it.
