Faith Which Comes From God Empty Faith Which Comes From God

    Post by Poem

    From the Written:

    OLD TESTAMENT Verses

"Gave them help. And the Agarites were delivered into their hands, and all that were with them, because they called upon God in the battle: and he heard them, because they had put their faith in him."
    [1 Paralipomenon (1 Chronicles) 5:20]

"For we are the children of the saints, and look for that life which God will give to those that never change their faith from him."
    [Tobias (Tobit) 2]

"He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house: but he that hateth bribes shall live. By mercy and faith sins are purged away: and by the fear of the Lord every one declineth from evil."
    [Proverbs 15]

"For he is found by them that tempt him not: and he sheweth himself to them that have faith in him."
    [Wisdom 1]

"And the eunuch, that hath not wrought iniquity with his hands, nor thought wicked things against God: for the precious gift of faith shall be given to him, and a most acceptable lot in the temple of God."
    [Wisdom 3]

"Is faith, and meekness: and he will fill up his treasures."
    [Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 1]

"The fear of God is the beginning of his love: and the beginning of faith is to be fast joined unto it."
    [Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 25]

"In every work of thine regard thy soul in faith: for this is the keeping of the commandments."
    [Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 32]

"He sanctified him in his faith, and meekness, and chose him out of all flesh."
    [Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 45]

    NEW TESTAMENT Verses

"And he said to her: Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be thou whole of thy disease."
    [Mark 5]

"And Jesus saith to him: Go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he saw, and followed him in the way."
    [Mark 10]

"And Jesus answering, saith to them: Have the faith of God."
    [Mark 11]

"Whose faith when he saw, he said: Man, thy sins are forgiven thee."
    [Luke 5]

And the word of the Lord increased; and the number of the disciples was multiplied in Jerusalem exceedingly: a great multitude also of the priests obeyed the faith."
    [Acts of Apostles 6]

"For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. And a great multitude was added to the Lord."
    [Acts of Apostles 11]

"By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name;"
    [Romans 1]

"For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith, as it is written: The just man liveth by faith."
    [Romans 1]

"Whom God hath proposed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to the shewing of his justice, for the remission of former sins,"
    [Romans 3]

"For not through the law was the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world; but through the justice of faith."
    [Romans 4]

"For if they who are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, the promise is made of no effect."
    [Romans 4]

"That your faith might not stand on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."
    [1 Corinthians 2:5]

"(For we walk by faith, and not by sight.)"
    [2 Corinthians 5:7]

"For unto us also it hath been declared, in like manner as unto them. But the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith of those things they heard."
    [Hebrews 4]

"Wherefore leaving the word of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to things more perfect, not laying again the foundation of penance from dead works, and of faith towards God,"
    [Hebrews 6]

"That you become not slothful, but followers of them, who through faith and patience shall inherit the promises."
    [Hebrews 6]

"Let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with clean water."
    [Hebrews 10]

"But my just man liveth by faith; but if he withdraw himself, he shall not please my soul."
    [Hebrews 10]

"But we are not the children of withdrawing unto perdition, but of faith to the saving of the soul."
    [Hebrews 10]

"Now faith is the substance of things to be hoped for, the evidence of things that appear not."
    [Hebrews 11]

"By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God; that from invisible things visible things might be made."
    [Hebrews 11]

"By faith Abel offered to God a sacrifice exceeding that of Cain, by which he obtained a testimony that he was just, God giving testimony to his gifts; and by it he being dead yet speaketh."
    [Hebrews 11]

"By faith Henoch was translated, that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had testimony that he pleased God."
    [Hebrews 11]

"But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and is a rewarder to them that seek him."
    [Hebrews 11]

Now faith is the most intrinsic part to have. Without Faith there can be no hope, no love.

Faith must be intrinsic. To believe, to know God has created all things. To tell yourselves this over and over. Reminder, then it becomes 'reality.'  What you believe in is necessary to go forward.

Then the next stage, I hope.

Then the next stage, I love.

All these must grow and be firm.  Unwaivering. Full and intrinsic.  Always. Just like God.

For by Faith, did God create.  He is Faith Hope Charity.  These are intrinsic in Him.

All these virtues are evident in God. We see them in Christ.

The man had faith, believed Jesus could heal this man.

He hoped,  he felt the love in Jesus. For what did Jesus say? Without love, you cannot do anything good.  Jesus was the Good Master.  From His Love came forth healing, faith in Him.  His life was about Faith Hope Charity. To teach man to have this himself. This is what is required.

For with God all things are possible.

God can do anything, we just don't have faith to believe He can.

The angel proclaimed Our Lord can do anything.

    Peace be with you always
