    St. Matthews Gospel Chapter 28

    18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.  19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

    Jesus says,

    "Go and spread the Word. Go with discernment and care. Do not apply it all in the same way.  May the Spirit of Light, who was spoken of yesterday at Mass, help you to choose the passages to be made known and to be kept unknown for the time being.  It is my counsel that you make a selection of the words spoken.  There are passages which for the time being must remain a sweet conversation among us.  Others which should be made known only to persons who on account of either their role or their soul are already in a position to be admitted to certain kinds of knowledge.  Other passages may be uttered and disseminated amoung souls.

    Thus to go and spread the Word must be used with great care and discernment at the discretion of the Holy Spirit who is the Author according to Jesus of the Gospel. The work of the Holy Spirit.  

    St. Paul was halted by the Holy Spirit from going into certain parts of Asia minor which he wrote in one of his epistles.  

    Jesus in the beginning of His ministry evangelized the great ones of Israel: Judaens such as the Pharisees, scribes etc of the Temple, the Religion of God.  Then in Book two He he changed his evangelizing to those of others.  This is spoken of early on in Book 2 when speaking to the Apostles.  The great ones as Jesus referred to them this way rejected and cast him out.  He ends up going to the Samaritans.
