Imagine if: Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Other Ancient Civilizations had Prospered to this Day?

Would you understand from these examples, what God hates?

The sin of Origin, creates in man, the paths and ways to these examples: Sodom and Gomorrah, Aztecs, Mayans, Egypt, so forth and so on.

The Bible is the Word of God, in that it teaches man, what happens when man does not obey God. It is very clear in the first Pages of Genesis, right on through to the End of Genesis. I can write about many thoughts here, but, I leave these other thoughts to your imagination. To contemplate, what evil, does to man, to neighbors, to civilization, a deeper understanding than, the one you have right now.

It is clear to me, from reading, the Bible, that great evils came to man because, of disobedience to God's simple commands. God gave man a mind, to reason intelligently with.

Sin, destroys intelligibility of the mind to reason properly through, pride, and the senses, wetting the appetites in man to crave lower things. To be as God said, just flesh. Not 'Just' as in "Justice." But "Only flesh," taking into consideration, only the desires, passions of the flesh, the mind in pride thinking it is doing itself a great favor, by being proud, the "I am." I did it my way, is a proud thought and sentiment, which says, 'I am.' Thus, God is not your friend. To seek after, earthly riches in every department of living. Women, money, wealth, food, materials. And to use ambition to get these, ambition teaches man to get it, however it can, not taking into consideration, morals, or justice. But, thinks and tells itself, that what it is doing is, right. It is not right to step on poor innocents to gain. It is not right to destroy your own goodness to gain all the wrong things. But, if you use 'justice' as God has so taught to gain, in yourself, morals and goodness, this is the correct gain. To gain, God and true Life. Removing selfishness, to become selfless in obtaining Heaven for yourself and others, and Eternal Life that never Ends. A True Easy Street forever. As they say in Japan, "Raku Raku, Manzoku."

The above describes briefly in a summary of what Sodom and Gomorrah and the Ancient tribes, brought about to man, his thirst for knowledge, the craving for knowledge to the detriment of himself, affecting, neighbors, 'civilization.' The small circle of himself and his family, if married, and the medium circle encompassing, relatives, friends, and the greater circle the community and civilization. A domino effect or other words to describe affecting greater numbers.

The Lord graciously cut off, these evil cities so that we, in the future generations would not be affected and live like them. Evil likes to run rampant, spoiling, and ruining, good, through, lower passions, cravings, and self acting desires and thoughts. To act and live apart from true justice. To become, wicked.

The Five Cities destroyed by God in the Bible:

Book of Wisdom Chapter 10

[6] She delivered the just man who fled from the wicked that were perishing, when the fire came down upon Pentapolis: [Wisdom 10:6] [Latin] [7] Whose land for a testimony of their wickedness is desolate, and smoketh to this day, and the trees bear fruits that ripen not, and a standing pillar of salt is a monument of an incredulous soul. [8] For regarding not wisdom, they did not only slip in this, that they were ignorant of good things, but they left also unto men a memorial of their folly, so that in the things in which they sinned, they could not so much as lie hid. [9] But wisdom hath delivered from sorrow them that attend upon her. [10] She conducted the just, when he fled from his brother's wrath, through the right ways, and shewed him the kingdom of God, and gave him the knowledge of the holy things, made him honourable in his labours, and accomplished his labours.

Amos 4:11
I destroyed some of you, as God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha, and you were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.

Sophonias (Zephaniah) 2:9
Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrha, the dryness of thorns, and heaps of salt, and a desert even for ever: the remnant of my people shall make a spoil of them, and the residue of my nation shall possess them.

Imagine if the Mayan civilization had over taken the world! Imagine yourself or one or many, of your family members, relatives and close friends, being sacrificed, for Hell's laughs and grins? Imagine.

Thus, as Jesus has said, "What Good is science without Wisdom?" It is 'straw.' And leaves, many unanswered, questions, leaving gaps, wide gaps, for man to fall back into the error that was wiped. Opening, a closed chapter for Man's thirst for knowing, greedy in knowledge, all the wrong things, leads to greater sins and the error propagates wider. This proves man is to be 'filled' with knowledge. Good or Evil Knowledge. Man acts by way of reasoning. Reasoning. He sees, and he acts, and in the moments, instinctively through the first thought, by successive thoughts that attach to the senses.

Until as Jesus said, the circle joins together, both ends of the circle joining to completing the circle of Evil. Instead of Completing the Circle of Good. God was aiding man to avoid, joining the evil ends together through, stopping these evil and wicked civilizations. Yet, man has these thirsts, that are unquenchable that is why man studies these once vain civilizations. He doesn't know what is truly good for him and seeks knowledge in everything, encompassing more evil knowledge to gain an as said, 'more perspective.' These thirsts, are not all good. To know and see that evil is there, one should immediately stop and cut-off and destroy such evil knowledge, so other generations do not stumble upon them. Thus, the Bible depicts evil civilizations that once thrived on the earth, "The Great Deluge of Noah's Time." God said what was needed to be said, and that is that. We should accept His word and move on to Holy Living, to avoid, Unholy Living which is 'death.'

A good verse, to show that God looks down from Heaven is when sons of men, went to create, the Tower of Babel in Genesis.

Genesis Chapter 11

[5] And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of Adam were building.

[6] And he said: Behold, it is one people, and all have one tongue: and they have begun to do this, neither will they leave off from their designs, till they accomplish them in deed. [7] Come ye, therefore, let us go down, and there confound their tongue, that they may not understand one another's speech. [8] And so the Lord scattered them from that place into all lands, and they ceased to build the city.

The examples are in the Bible, which is the Word and Wisdom of God to teach men. One episode in the Bible, teaches men, about, civilizations, that no longer exist. But, human science, leads men to seek out to disprove or prove what God has shown.

All men are born with the Sin of Origin. This statement is true. We are 'born.' Adam and Eve were 'created.' They had a choice. We however do not have a choice to be 'born' without this Sin. Thus, God created a way for us to come out of Sin. The Sin, is a mystery to great amounts of souls, of man, mankind. The Sin is very simple, once you understand it. But, what comes afterwards, is endless repetitions, of the same Sin, and ever increasing new 'sins.' This is endless. News sins keep propagating in the generations of men. Thus, the Passion of Christ, encompasses, all 'sins' and the "Sin."

God had perfect knowledge of every sin, man had and would commit. And consumed them in Christ on the Cross. This is a great sum, we cannot fathom! Had Christ not come and consumed every 'sin' man would have no hope in the future. Man would have ceased to exist. Thus, we live every man and woman, because of Christ's Work, His Perpetual Passion that takes place daily. The Cross that is floating above the Earth, which no normal sinful man can see. He dies daily. A perpetual Sacrifice, which is why we are able to Celebrate the Mass.

I had no idea, how much Christ's Passion meant for mankind. None. Then I read, Poem of the Man-God and the Notebooks and Azariah. At first, I was still small, embryonic in thought and reasoning. Very small. A little seedling. Then, over time as I kept reading, rereading, praying, so forth, the seeds grew. The knowledge I possess today, is the result due to Christ's Merits, which God has freely given to anyone who seeks to live, the Way, the Truth, the Life. But, one must do so, in the True Religion, using and aids Christ gave in the Sacraments, thus, birthing, a desire to become like Christ.

Without suffering and pain, we cannot come to know the Deeper Truths. Because pain and suffering, purges, bad habits, evil habits, wickedness, it is 'expiation.' It is these, and without knowing Christ's Passion deeply we cannot love Christ's Doctrine and know Christ. Because we have not tasted what it means to love in a world that became corrupted by Sin. The Mystery of the Passion must be lived out in our daily lives, in order for us to love more. Thus, those who avoid pain and suffering do not know how to love. Cannot know what it means to love.

Read Jesus' words, to love, is to suffer all pain and all hate, because pain and suffering came by Hatred. Thus, God takes the evil of what hatred brought, to use it to gain all good. Jesus gained all good, by consuming all hate in Himself and put it to death, the death on the Cross. By consuming doesn't mean he ate it, like Adam and Eve did, but, he tasted it. This is tough for the majority to comprehend. "Taste" without digestion. He 'tasted' the hate, but did not eat it. Thus, He consumed our sins, which is the work of Hate, because Satan is all Hatred, Jesus became the altar to consume our Sins.

The Lord had Prophets write, and bring about, a human altar, as in the work of men to depict what God would do, by His Hands, to create an altar to consume our sins. Created by God, and not the work of men. Jesus is this Altar, created by God. He consumed our sins on the Altar, 'perfect.' Because the work of man is always stained by sin, polluting. Thus, God brought an unpolluted Altar. He provided everything for us, to achieve the 'goal.' We have to labor, but very little in comparison to God's labor. He has done the majority of the work for us. He created all things. And provides all things.

Yet, we have a problem doing a remedial thing. Because, we are still embryonic and childish. We have not reached 'adulthood' as 'spirits.' We still complain, mumble over our rights as 'citizens' of the 'earth.' Over many trifles, and they are 'trifles.'

They are all childish in God's eyes and, shows that we are such.

The laws of the Land on the Earth, portray, lots of childish ways. Piles of laws, heaps of laws, rules and regulations, to protect trifles. Our generation is full of childishness which God is angered over, keeping souls from becoming 'adults.'

God even states we have not progressed, but regressed to the ancient days, before the Flood, very similar but worse then those days. Increased the errors and increased the sins, and increased the childishness, and thus the Book of Daniel portrays, these in metaphors. Jesus explains, what those animals are, they are men transformed. The, bear, the Leopard, these images is how God sees man. Many think these images are nations.

Just like in the Book of Apocalypse, many think, kings, and other symbols portray nations, but, God looks at men and through progression, God watches and observes his growth. A Parent, does the same. They observe our growth.

Thus, when, Jesus says, commenting about what man has become in our times, by stating the visual, it definitely is a surprise. God is a 'father.' And He gives us an visual representation using, terms we would surely understand. Such as, 'leopard' and 'bear.'

Thus, when God sees man has become these, He, removes them from His Planet.

As, Jesus described to Maria, the reason for many things from the beginning to now, the reasons are, that God has been observing man's growth. And through Prophets, He teaches what man has become and, what man will be. Good or Evil.

The choice Adam and Eve made, brought evil to mankind. If you don't want to be evil, wicked, sinful, you have a choice given to you, just as God gave to Adam and Eve. But, to remember, that God commanded Adam and Eve, how to live, so to avoid Evil. His 'advice.' God commanded them, not overbearingly but, softly, gently, kindly as would a loving Father. For those who have like 'parents' you know what I'm stating, but, for those who have parents, that are not wise, they still care and advise, as best as they can for your good. Sometimes, though, their idea of good is aloof. Thus, we all have a Heavenly Father in such cases. Which I did not recognize myself, because I was, empty and void. Goodness in man eventually if kept, leads to virtues and God. Thus, if God had not come to me, I would have been in worse shape then I am today. But, I did not capitalize on it back then, because I was not formed well back then, an atheist, with limitations. No Wisdom. No love. No light.

Today, because of conversion to Christ's Way, I can write to help others, but, I myself have much work to be done, due the way I had lived.

I hope this little post helps a few to avoid further, unnecessary strife and wasted living, so they can become true saints for the Lord.

We all suffer, regardless of you choosing not to. All men suffer and receive pain, Jesus advises us to harness pain and suffering to use for 'salvation and redemption' of souls, a greater good.

Those who avoid as much as possible pain and suffering, end up suffering more. So it is best to gain from suffering than lose.
