What Does It Mean to Be in the State of Grace? Empty What Does It Mean to Be in the State of Grace?

    Post by Poem

This is what it means from a certain point of view.

    Romans 8
[1] There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.

Who walk not according to the flesh. When we walk according to the flesh, we are in sin. Which means, we are not walking in the Light.

This is very complex today as to what is walking in the flesh. Very complex, because of the many ways to live according to the flesh. Many things to attach to out there in the world. Many. Traps and snares abundant. Ads in stores, newpapers, everywhere to sell something for your flesh, comfort, pleasure to attach to your sense and sentiments, by invading your thoughts, through sight. You have to see to read. The world is plastered with allurements.

For example lust for woman. Now there is the Internet, magazines, TV, movies, which teaches immodesty, impurity, to be imprudent, unwise, and seek after all the pleasure of a woman. The allurements to incite sexual activity begins in the thought of man. Then it works its way to the sentiments and senses. Before long your whole self is corrupted, in all these parts. Once that happens, it's very difficult to stay away. Because your whole self has been stimulated. A woman then, becomes an object of sensual pleasure, treated like a slave or a tool. A tool is used, and when done it is put away to where it was originally or a new location. A slave is called to function for a purpose and then it returns back to some task previous.

Jesus explains in the dictations to Maria, that Satan works to get men and women to sensual sins. Because the whole self is then stimulated, his thought, his sentiments and his senses. Destroying the thoughts, and conscience. And once these are destroyed, he takes total control. You are at this point, the same as zombie with no control over your thoughts, sentiments, and sense, which means loss of control of your whole self.

At this point, you are a drone ready to be occupied by its conqueror. He comes to torture, lash, salt, and beat you internally and when you do not function, externally, through others. This explains why other servants of his come to thrash you. You are gulped down at this point as well. He has gulped you down, you are in his stomach. Then if you do not fight, you convert to his puppets and end up like those who came to thrash you. A servant of evil. He can spew you out because you got hot.

He makes you cold to God. First step is lukewarmness. Then finally cold to God. And once you have become ice, which means the flame has departed, and the sign of Christ is erased, he puts his mark on you. the mark of the Beast.

Those who walk according to the flesh, live by the rules of the flesh are not in Grace, but are in condemnation. You have guilty conscience for the wrongs or wrong you have committed, in short sins, grave and venial. You are not in Grace. Or you have rejected God's invitation for salvation and are under condemnation.

Those who are in Christ, are in Grace and walk according to the spirit of life and its teachings, its commands, which are gentle and kind. Love is kind. Read the 12 fruits of the spirit in Galatians. Kindness is one of the fruits of love.

God's fruits are then in these 12. That's what love is. So to those in condemnation, it is like being in the state of sin, in fact it is. You have not been reconciled into Grace, either because you are still a non-believer, or you sinned and need to go to Confession to be readmitted into Grace.

Thus, a non-believer is in the state of condemnation, if they walk according to the dictates of the flesh. Not living in good morals, not in an elevated state above the savage life that is rampant today.

Morals. Without morals one cannot elevate up above the mire. One runs around in circles, one bounces from one to another place and finds no peace. It is because of sin. An act of committing sin and several or many sins. That adds to condemnation, ever see a balloon being filled with air or water? The more you sin the bigger the balloon gets. And that balloon is your conscience. In this it is stated, God wants you to be good. To call you to forgiveness an act of sincere repentance. Because God wants to cover you with Love. Evil and God cannot coexist together, it is foolishness to think so, you cannot have love and lust. You choose one or the other.

We sin because we want to. Because many are taught to sin as a way of life, without knowing in most cases, because they were not taught good morals, between good and evil. They have not exercised their sense to discern good from evil and choose only good.
There are many that are still irresponsible. Irresponsible means, in this case not knowing the difference between good and evil. The world has become so evil, that it has lost this itself and in many cases has become irresponsible, because they still act worse than beasts, very childish at best.

The world lives in the sin of pride. Pride teaches all the ways of vice. Pride, sensuality, avarice. The world is the spirit of sin who's founder of is Satan. He teaches contrary to goodness and true justice. So you would inherit Hell, by being condemned in sinning. The perfect sinner receives Hell for his way of living. The perfect sinner is one who did not repent and became evil and wicked, because they hate God who is all Good, for one reason or another.

Come to God and live, don't be a servant of Evil any longer. Repentance gives peace of mind and the burden of the heaviness of sin is lifted. You no longer feel a great weight upon you, bending you down, making you sluggish, feeling defeated, anxious, without hope. Without purpose. To kill you and leave you empty while still living, or existing and breathing having thought.

    Peace be with you always

"The Lord is always with the soul in grace. God does not draw away even when the Tempter comes near. God draws away only when the creature yields to the Tempter and corrupts its soul. Then God withdraws, for He cannot live together with the Enemy. He withdraws, and, like a Father who is not scornful, but pained, He waits for repentance to come into the creature's heart and for the creature to refasten the bond of love with the Father.

"God would like to be with you always. If all your angels, as numerous as the stars in the sky, could greet you with the words, 'The Lord is with you,' your Lord's joy would be complete, for We wish to be with you and for this reason we created you.

"But man now finds with Us onerous and does not feel what his wretchedness is when he is deprived of Us. Wretchedness, blindness, madness, death--that's what the loss of union with your Lord is. And you never think of this!"

"Regarding those who are with God, it is not that they don't see evil, which, like a filthy garment or a repugnant disease, covers so many creatures. They see it--indeed, with greater clarity than many others, but the sight of it corrupts nothing in them. Evil does not enter through the eyes to arouse the instincts smouldering in the flesh or the wicked movements of the mind. This happens only in those who, separated from God, have the Enemy as a guest.

"The one united to God is filled with God, and everything else which is not God remains on the surface, a wind which slightly wrinkle's the spirit's surface and does not enter to disturb the interior. And not only this. The one united to God, truly united to God, rather than absorb the exterior into himself, spreads the interior over his neighbors--that is, he spreads Goodness, God.

"Yes, it is exactly that way: whoever is with God has a power to irradiate, much more powerful than that of many bodies in the universe over which man has wearied his mind and raised up a monument of pride. And, above all, he has a supernaturally useful power, for whoever bears the Holy of Holies in him self, and lives by Him, communicates Him to others. It is that which makes people say, 'He is a saint.'
