Why Does Jesus Use the Word Observe?

Post by Poem on Sun Jun 14, 2009 11:48 pm

Jesus uses this word, because, we are to be just. The Just observe.

The rest dictate and force. God does not force. Free will. There are all kinds of people, lets look at the mix of people, some are dingy, some floppy, some are overbearing, some are hateful, some are retarded, etc.,.
So, are people one type only? No, they are all variations, this is the result of Sin: sin damaged body, the intellect, the will, the spirit,--- all of man. These were inherited because man chose death instead of Life in the very first line or at the first seed-- Adam.

Why then do we think God is forcing? Because of Human Erudition, Humanism, human feelings, and emotions.
Human or carnal lifestyles. Many do not bother to read the Bible, they do not deny themselves, and carry their crosses, and come to love the cross. In all, what you are taught, not just schools where a teacher stands in front and hands out assignments, but the whole 'society'. Today, TV is your best teacher in the world. It teaches you how to be 'evil'. And it does it quite well. As Jesus also said, the flesh is Satan's instrument. What is the flesh? It is an animal.

The carnal desires: Passions of lust, pride, fleshly pleasing, everything earthly for the earthly man.

The spiritual desires: To love God and live with God, to learn from God, to be a friend of God, to be God's sons and daughter, to be a citizen of Heaven. To be ever so close to God that you want nothing but to be with God at this exact moment from this day forward or whenever you started having these heart felt desires.

There are many Christians, who believe that the flesh has been healed from the concupiscence and that feelings and emotions are pure after baptism, which is false. You have been cleansed from sin, but you can still sin. If you were pure, you would be in Heaven and you would not sin, you would not have the inclination to sin, you would resist with ease any temptation. Inclination to Sin, or concupiscence. [Read and study Romans] That's where pure people go to Heaven. We are not pure yet. Fully pure means like Jesus and Mary. We still have to grow in spirit to reach adulthood, which means to control the flesh, so you can resist the world and the devil.

1 Peter 2

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, to refrain yourselves from carnal desires which war against the soul,

After they had successfully defeated, the flesh, the world and the devil.

You have to overcome temptations and the human nature to rebel against the spirit which God infused into your being so you can be a living soul.

An Important Point

Post by Poem on Wed Jun 24, 2009 7:20 pm

Apocalypse 3

3 Have in mind therefore in what manner thou hast received and heard: and observe, and do penance. If then thou shalt not watch, I will come to thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come to thee.

Jesus says: If you shall not watch, you will not know when I come. Jesus is telling us right here, to watch, this means to be fixed on Jesus, to pray, to do the things of love. For when He is about to come, He will announce to the faithful, who are the real faithful ones? When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth? He says to love Him. The 10 virgins comes to mind.

The Oil is love. The 5 virgins have perpetual love for Jesus, the other 5 did not have everlasting love, but had to go find more. They did not prepare their hearts with love to endure His delay. The Light or the Lamp is fire of love in your heart, for Jesus. You must prepare for all times and seasons.

Peace in the Holy Name of Jesus

What is the Unleavend Bread for Christians?

Post by Poem on Wed Jun 24, 2009 7:35 pm

1 Exodus 12
14 And this day shall be for a memorial to you: and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord in your generations with an everlasting observance.

2 Exodus 12

17 And you shall observe the feast of the unleavened bread: for in this same day I will bring forth your army out of the land of Egypt, and you shall keep this day in your generations by a perpetual observance.

3 Exodus 13

10 Thou shalt keep this observance at the set time from days to days.

Jesus tells, the Apostles at the Last Supper, to institute 'what I am giving you' in 'His Church': "The New Passover" "Breaking of Bread"

For those who are just catching on the Old Law is not Old, some things were cancelled out such as circumscision of the flesh, it just moved from one point to the next: Jesus tells the Apostles, men will no longer have to circumsice their flesh, but their 'hearts'. Circumscision still remains.

Observe the Law of God and you shall have glory!

Jesus tells us that in Heaven, those who deserve it will receive honor by other men whom they surpassed.

PoMG, Jesus speaks of surpassing. He at one point tells someone, that Sycnthce(forgot her spelling) the Greek woman, that she had surpassed all of His apostles! So, you see here, God uses others to spur us on to higher elevations, in truth and justice, not wickedness and malice. But with humility and recognizing those who press forward because they understand what God is all about. He is about pure souls, without malice, wickedness, to give justly a good reward, according to His High Standards. High to us because we have fallen, and High to us because there has to be a Good God in order to grant the best reward. If His ways are way above ours, and He is infinite in every attribute, character, personality, His gifts are way above our Imagination. But able to comprehend once in Heaven. For only Perfectly Good things God gives to those once in Heaven. The absolute Perfection. While on earth, life is passing like grass and eternal gifts would be odd in a passing environment where people die. God wants to give to each of us a gift to keep for all eternity. Think about these things.

If He gave us an eternal gift (not speaking about Life, but rewards and treasures) in the present mortal state, they would not be appreciated and would be left for something else. We live in time, everything material passes and decays. An eternal Gift would also blind us beyond ever seeing while alive. God is Light, His gifts in Heaven, contain surpassing Light. Gold shines like no other, rubies, diamonds, and such have a luster that our matter born eyes would not be able to handle. Thus, we must persevere to the end and receive theses beauties.

Jesus also says: Your reward is God. Ever wonder why He says this? Contemplate this it will take the rest of your life on earth. Because I'm still grasping it myself. God is infinite.

Azariah says, that to be in God is beyond human comprehension. He is speaking as one who is in Heaven and a faithful spirit to God. He says to possess God is everything. The material would be irrelavent. It so happens that, some will be hazy. But not impure, unholy, and such. They achieved, human perfection in keeping with good morals and did not seek directly to harm any other person while alive on Earth. They did no Evil, they were people of good will; God Judges all souls, thank the Lord He does! The Great Equalizer for men. Read Notebook 1943 Madame, Curie passage from Jesus. After you read this, you realize that God is not closed minded, but very wide and perseptive, it is we who are closed minded and narrowly perseptive.

So this needs another contemplation: "good will" what is God's definition of good will? we have to take a much deep and close look into it to absorb it's true meaning. Assimilation, one of Jesus' main words He used in PoMG in the first two or three books?

Like the Lord Jesus says; God is Infinite.

I realize that, to be in God means to just observe as He says and things go much smoother, than resisting.

Peace in the Holy Name of Jesus
