Abraham, and, Sodom and Gomorrah

Post by Poem on Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:05 pm

This is intended to be short.

Abraham was and is God's Patriarch. He lived under God's care and guidance. He was 'greatly beloved' beyond any measure known to man, by God.

Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities destroyed by God for sin, was a good distance away. God gave to Abraham all the land his eyes could behold, and then to Lot, Abraham gave a portion of this land. Unfortunately Lot squandered parts of his for pleasure. Lot lost his wife forever it seems, because she was living in sin and she did not disdan sin. If she had, she would not have turned back to look at the demise and destruction. Why? 'Full sin'-- where, no spirit can rise, is where the soul is dead to goodness, justice, faith, love, it is instead bitten and lives in the pool of unquenchable fires of concupiscence. Full of lust. Your thoughts are full of lust. Your heart is sold to lust. Pleasure Paradise. The sentiments of lust.

Abraham to us, lived apart from the world of lust and pleasure paradise, which is what the world is always, pleasure paradise, today it is more pleasure paradise than, peace and holiness. The equilibrium is tilted towards the pleasure paradise for man. In terms of coverage, territory that pleasure paradise has consumed, it is greater, this is precisely what I'm getting at. Jesus tells us in the Notebooks, He only comes where His Sign is raised up. Another words, where His Sign is raised, it is His Land.

Why? Because that's where it is still holy, consecrated. Today, because pleasure paradise is allover, we don't recognize, the difference. It fact for those living in pleasure paradise, they hate, holy, consecrated areas. They have a disdain for it, because, demons have entered into them and they have themselves become demons.

That's the war: converting to Christ or converting to Demons. To be imitators of Christ or imitators of Satan.

What is pure and holy they dispise, disdain, makes them, disturbed greatly. The demon roars inside them. Read Demoniac of Decapolis and the other instances of Jesus encountering demon possessed men. Read the whole thing picking out the nuances.

Jesus tells us that Abraham is the symbol of the Father, father Abraham. Sodom is sin haven. Full of lusts. It symbolizes the world today, in small or great portions.

Then I bring in, Mary Most Holy, She plays a great role in my life. She heals me, gives me advice, tells me kindly and sternly. Mary's role is the greatest role of a Mother. She is Queen of Heaven and Mother.

I just read about the supernatural plane in the 1944 Notebooks, that opened my eyes a whole lot, that caused me to see from above rather than looking up to find a place to hover. After I read this I understood how Jesus could bend over sinners. He lives in the spiritual plane above while the sinner, fallen lives below and He bends over their souls to give them graces.

Abraham lived in the spiritual plane. Sodom and Gomorrah live in the fallen state. Once God deems them unrecoverable, then comes judgment and punishment.

Unrecoverable means, God see's that these souls are corrupt beyond redemption just like Lucifer. And He sends them to Lucifer. He removes His grace and lets the demon, the angel of Satan carry that soul to hell for an eternity of torment. For, while on earth that person lived in sinful pleasures.

Stay with Abraham, call upon him for help. Also, Moses, Joseph, Elijah and of the Old Testament Patriarch's and Prophets, they are great sources. Great help.

Peace be with you always

Quote from Book 1 Chp. 32 where Jesus gives a commentary

The Spirit of God can thunder if It wants, and rouse like a thunderbolt and shake like an earthquake the dullest spirit. It can. But generally, as It is an orderly Spirit, as God is Order in each Person and way of acting, It inspires and speaks, not where there is sufficient merit to deserve its effusion - in which case Its effusions would be most rare and not even you would know their light - but where It sees the "good will" to deserve such effusion.

From the above quote:

"not where there is sufficient merit to deserve its effusion - in which case Its effusions would be most rare and not even you would know their light"

How good does one have to be? Good enough for God. That is you must desire it! Even if you feel the overwhelming 'not good will' in you. With forcefullness. With every turn, with all the strength that is buried, dormant, lacking in you. And God see's your intention and comes to your aid.

The catch: Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God created, man 'good', with good in him at birth, infused into the soul. That good is protected by God. When one comes to the point of reason in one's life, that they are able to discern, good from evil, this is when God and Satan, act in greater portions because, Evil seeks to destroy every good. By, seduction if Lucifer, and by good if God. God protects the good in the soul. This means, that you may be being tortured in flesh by evil, either your will seduced to evil, or others, seduced to Evil. Evil seeks to conquer the tiniest morsel of good in a soul. Once the good, which is light for your soul, is extinquished, your lost.
You have all your life to seeking God to increase your good.

Lucifer uses Good to lure to Evil. This here proves Good comes from God, the 'good'. Because Lucifer has to make it look and sound good to you. The catch being the 'good'. Even in Evil, people say is that good? And they all say 'yay or nay'. Thus Good is from God alone. So, one has to pay attention to how it is used.

Now, I got side tracked a bit, the latter part of the second quote is what I was getting to for Abraham and the Elite Patriarch's of God. They were in the latter:

"in which case Its effusions would be most rare and not even you would know their light"

Because they were humble and for those who had not known Goodness, they would not be able to 'detect' the Light in them. They were hidden in God. God kept them thus.

When you read the Old Testament parts, about each Patriarch, it is not detectable right away, in fact it takes years to see it. But, for a child, who is still innocent, they can. Because their angels are given, the grace to give to them to see it. How beautiful this is! God is beauty. Not your human kind. The only kind.

The 'purity' of a child.

Peace be with you always

From Notebook 1943 Christs Words for Friends

"All My words are Holy, but the multitudes are not holy. "You must therefore be a prudent as serpents" to 'avoid' the 'insidious coils' of 'the great serpent that is the spirit of the world,' who suffocates and poisons what is good and leads it astray so that good will serve as a pretext for evil."

"The times in which you are living, my poor friends, are even more filled with acrimony and a spirit contrary to God than they were when I was judged by a handful of men rendered mad by sin. It is thus necessary to be vigilant, for the chance to harm enemies would be seized at once, to incite the throngs for unholy aims which are clothed in an appearance of goodness, but underneath are just a seething of passions and social ambitions.

"My Word of Truth must not serve lies. My Word of Mercy must not serve acts of revenge. Be careful, then.

Peace be with you always
